Traditional cues were taken from the brewery’s Harrogate provenance, and found inspiration in the wonderful art deco rail travel imagery, which is so prevalent in Harrogate’s iconic architecture.
The brandmark itself is aligned with the traditional railway destination signs and language, inspired by the great rail posters of the 1930’s – ‘it’s quicker by ale’.
Shortly after launch, HBCo were listed in Jamie’s Italian in Harrogate, plus scooping a packaging award at the prestigious Roses design awards in Manchester.
Awards have flowed with more fantastic results, picking up a bronze at the York Beer Festival and a silver at the Peterborough Beer Festival.
